Pulsar radiation mechanisms. Use of interstellar and
interplanetary scintillation as a tool for obtaining high angular
resolution and as a probe of the plasma. Mapping of major interplanetary
disturbances and their relation to shock accelerated particles and
geomagnetic activity using observations with the 3.6 hectare array.
