The directory /pub/6C contains the source lists for the 6C survey , a radio
survey which covers most of the Northern sky above declination +30 degrees
at a frequency of 151 MHz with resolution 4 arcmin x 4cosec(dec) arcmin and
flux density limit of order one hundred to a few hundred mJy depending on
the direction of interest. Well over 30,000 radio sources are represented.
The survey is divided into seven Zones (1, 2, 3, 4, 5a, 5b, 6).
One file of source data is provided for each Zone of the survey as detailed
below.

For each file, each record comprises (in B1950 coordinate system) :

RA(h m s),DEC(o ' "), Fitted peak flux density(Jy), Integrated flux density(Jy),
 Contour panel number, :, Mapname (e.g. 0940+41)

(note that for 6CI (/6C1.list) ONLY, RA is rounded to nearest second of time -
 whereas 6CII-VI (/6C2-6.list) have decimal seconds time)

(note that Integrated flux density can take values - or * instead of a numerical
  value in some circumstances)

to which they relate and the reference for that Zone of the 6C survey:
