I am a Leverhulme/Newton Trust Early Career Research Fellow at the Astrophysics Group of the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge and fellow-commoner at Trinity Hall, Cambridge.
The main focus of my research is to develop rigorous statistical frameworks to answer fundamental questions regarding formation and evolution of the universe. In particular, my work provides a bridge between the disciplines of statistical inference, machine learning and astrophysics.
I have developed several statistical inference methods and applied them for studies in gravitational wave astronomy, exoplanet detection, galaxy cluster physics and supersymmetry studies in particle physics.
